Karmveer P.N. Rajbhoj Institute of coaching & socio-religious studies, is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
This institute was raised again as a part of celebration of the centenary year of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, in 1992. However it has been named after his lieutenant who was the general secretary of All India Scheduled Castes Federation (AISCF) from 1944 to 1954.
Popularly called PNRI by student and staff alike this institution is providing dedicated coaching to aspiring candidates for Union and State Civil Services examinations. It is a fully residential institution with separate hostel facilities for girls. Till date over 70 students have been selected in various services including the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
This institute is headed by its Director Shri Baby George and provides excellent library and hostel facilities. The outstanding feature of this institute is its location, on a hilltop and on the outskirts of Nagpur; it provides an ideal noise-free environment for intensive study that competitive examinations require. It is run mostly on charitable grants.
The total intake is 30 students including 20 boys and 10 girls, the admission process commences in June each year and academic session lasts till May next year. It charges a nominal fee of Rs 2200 per month that includes lodging, boarding, food, library facilities and coaching.
Subjects taught include General Studies (G.S), Geography, Sociology, Law, Political Science, & Public Administration.
